About Arizona Philharmonic: Arizona Philharmonic (AZ Phil) is celebrating its seventh season in Prescott in 2024-2025 as the area's premier regional professional orchestra, presenting large and small concerts that engage and inspire listeners. Based in Prescott, AZ Phil draws musicians from across Arizona and throughout the Southwest and is committed to offering transformative music, while nurturing community participation and supporting the needs and growth of the Prescott area performing arts scene. Arizona Philharmonic is committed to quality concerts; paying musicians fair wages; creating music jobs; promoting living composers; offering creativity-based outreach to youth, underserved, and seniors; and enabling concert and performance attendance by all economic levels. Arizona Philharmonic is grounded in a culture of kindness. We aim to increase the vitality and diversity of the Prescott region’s music scene. Many of the 100+ Arizona musicians we introduced to Prescott have also joined other ensembles in the region. We helped create the region’s first professional chorus, whose premiere performance with us featured vocalists from across the Southwest. We lead efforts to improve and create performance spaces, reduce our local venue shortage, give space to community performers, and support the Prescott downtown business district. Arizona Philharmonic is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Our EIN is 83-4652802.
