Job Description:
1. Actively maintain a safe plant environment following 5S principles 2. Maintain the operating condition of H-121 and H-155 extrusion blow mold machinery 3. Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery 4. Disassemble machinery to remove parts and make repairs 5. Examine parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear 6. Observe and test the operation of machinery to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters or other testing devices 7. Analyze test results, machine error messages or information obtained from operators to diagnose equipment problems 8. Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing or repairs 9. Operate newly repaired machinery to verify the adequacy of repairs 10. Clean, lubricate, or adjust parts, equipment, and machinery 11. Record parts or materials used and requisition new parts and materials 12. Record repairs and maintenance performed 13. Study blueprints and manuals to determine correct operation of machinery 14. Enter codes and instructions to program computer-controlled machinery 15. Demonstrate equipment functions and features to apprentice mechanics and machine operators
Experience Required:
• Associates Degree or Certified Technical Training in equipment repair is preferred. • Three years of hands-on hydraulic, electrical & pneumatic systems experience is preferred. • Two years of hands-on motor repair experience is preferred. * Wage is based on experience as well as performance reviews. Pay range is $15/hr to $25/hr.
