TnT Towing & Transport

My complaint with TNT towing & transport has been resolved.
Thank you to TNT and AAA for your understanding.

I feel like Jason and KC as well as the ever patient ladies in dispatch are extended family now. I am just shy of 70 years old. I have needed a battery start, a changed tire and most recently rescued after I hit a large javalina in the Interstate 10 miles from home. I am so lucky my AAA uses TnT. I was a wreck after the accident. It was pitch black dark. Jason responded to the scene. Got me and the car home .. KC came the next morning and got me to the collision shop in Phoenix. From their pleasant smiles and encouragement to making sure I safely got in and out of the truck they made me feel safe and understood. As I get older I honestly become more and more appreciative that there are still businesses and young men who acknowledge my age and limitations but never make me feel like a burden. THANKS GUYS!!

Our car overheated on the I 17 , we called AAA and they sent Travis to our rescue. What a gem of a Guy!! He was quick to pick us up and give our car a tow to Prescott Valley & Sun Valley Tire & auto repair. He was efficient , professional and extremely helpful!! He went the extra mile ..GREAT service! Filing a report with BBB and looking into retaining an attorney. My car was towed there and they refused to allow me to obtain my personal belongings from my totaled and un drivable car (including my passport). Very sentimental and irreplaceable items were in my car along with important personal documents.

Our tire blew out on the freeway and through AAA we had TnT towing come. Terry was nothing short of amazing! Super nice, fast and very helpful he even called to make sure the tire place had our tire in stock before dropping us off. We are from CA and we're worried we had to call an Uber to take me, my son and 2 dogs home but thankfully we got to stay in the car while he towed us to the tire shop.

Needed a horribly run down Class A motorhome scraped off a lot in Prescott. Because of it's condition, very few tow companies could handle the job. I was referred to TnT Towing to take care of it. They did, but getting to it was about two weeks of peaks and valleys. To be ABSOLUTELY CLEAR - they did get the job done. For that I am thankful. Also - here's what I had to go through:

T minus 10 days - Me, calling TnT: "Um, Hi, can you tow a 30 foot Class A Motor home 10 days from now at 9:00 AM. The Class A is not working and cannot be driven? TnT: Sure. no problem.

T minus 4 days - Me: Hi TnT, we're 4 days out, you can tow this 30 foot non-running Class A Motorhome at 9 AM like we discussed? TnT: Sure, no problem.

T minus 2 days: Me. Hi TnT, I've got 4 different groups lined up to work on this in 2 days and want to confirm you know this 30 foot Class A doesn't run and needs special services, right. TnT: Sure, we know all about this. We're even going to send someone out to take a look at it before we tow. No problem.

Day of: TnT calls me and leaves a voice mail: Oh, hey, about 9:00 AM, how does 7:30 AM sound instead? If that's not going to work for you we'll have to postpone for 3 weeks or cancel all together. Kthanks, GBYE.

I call TnT back, get them to still come out at a "compromise time" of 8:30. TnT shows up at 9:00

Their tow truck driver on site: "WAAAT? I can't tow this. It's not running. It's also 30 feet long and way too big for me to do anything.

9:15 AM a flatbed shows up to pick up the unit and sends it to a Junker.

For all this, I'm charged full freight even with their "surprise" time change, no one going out before hand, and 1 of 2 tow vehicles ill equipped to deal with the extent of issues with the Class A Motorhome - all of which was fully disclosed days in advance.

Morals of the story are this. 1 They can get the job done. 2 If they tell you it's sunny outside, look out the window to confirm, because it's probably overcast with a chance of rain. If you plan accordingly, the tow job you need should still get done for you.

Verbally quoted $203 to transport a running piece of equipment from Mayer to Dewey. Plus 3% for credit card. After completion, billed meat $303.00 and claimed I misheard. Sent me a text saying that it was on schedule but did not text price. Convenient way to change pricing.

UPDATE
After a short time, but after posting this review, Ireceived a call from the office manager who listened to the dispatch recording and confirmed that I had been quoted the lower price. She immediately issued a credit for the difference.
Quality service should be measured by how a company handles a situation when things go wrong; TNT Towing handled the issue correctly. Kudos to the office personnel for bringing it to the manager quickly.

Thank you Terry! Terry saved me at the casino. Car alarm malfunctioned and wouldn't shut off. Terry got there quick, fixed the problem and got me back on the road.
