Prevent Child Abuse Arizona is the leading voice in advocating for the well-being of Arizona's children through the prevention of child abuse and neglect. By providing training to community professionals and implementing research-based prevention services statewide, PCA Arizona works to assure parents have the support and information they need to keep children safe and healthy. The Yavapai Family Advocacy Center is a program of PCA Arizona that provides a safe and supportive environment and facilitates a team approach to help child and adult victims of sexual abuse and family violence. Victims receive comprehensive crisis services onsite, including forensic medical exams, mental health counseling and victim advocacy, as well as assistance with law enforcement, the Department of Child Safety, and prosecution of the perpetrator. YFAC's mission is to reduce trauma to victims of abuse.
