The Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to enriching the lives of adults in the Prescott community through health, wellness, education, and social connection. Our mission is to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment where individuals—18 and older—can find opportunities to stay active, learn new skills, build meaningful relationships, and give back to their community.
Unlike many public facilities, The Center does not receive City, State, or Federal funding. We are a fully self-sustained nonprofit, relying on community support through memberships, room rentals, donations, sponsorships, and grants to operate and grow our impact. Every dollar raised goes directly into providing valuable programs, maintaining our facility, and offering support to those in need.
The Center is home to a wide variety of activities and services:
Health and Wellness Programs: Including yoga, Zumba, Tai Chi, line dancing, strength training, and more to promote physical and mental wellness.
Recreational and Social Activities: From games like bridge, mahjong, and bingo to clubs like art and book groups, The Center encourages socialization and mental engagement.
Educational Offerings: Regularly scheduled seminars, guest speakers, safety presentations, and tech help keep members informed and connected to resources.
Creative Arts and Crafts: Hands-on workshops and seasonal projects offer space for expression and creativity.
Special Events: We host community-wide events throughout the year such as health fairs, craft shows, community dances, appreciation luncheons, and holiday celebrations.
In addition, The Center offers affordable room rentals for public and private use. Our spacious facility includes activity rooms, a large ballroom, and kitchen access, ideal for weddings, celebrations, memorials, meetings, and trainings. These rentals not only serve the community but also help fund our mission-driven work.
We are also proud to run community outreach programs that make a tangible difference:
Kids Kloset: Supporting children in need with new clothing, hygiene supplies, toys, and food boxes.
Senior Tree: Ensuring seniors in need receive thoughtful gifts and basic essentials during the holiday season.
Resource Drives and Distributions: Throughout the year we collect and distribute items like school supplies, hygiene kits, and food to families and individuals in need.
At its core, The Center is more than just a building—it’s a place of belonging, support, and community empowerment. We bring people together across generations, create meaningful connections, and work daily to make Prescott a better place for all.
